Abstract

This study aims to assess the role of Haji Sulong in Fighting Special Otomomi Pattani southern Thailand in the year 1947- 1954. This study uses historical research while the approach used is sociology politics. The results of show that Changes are most keenly felt by the Patani Malay Community when the government Phibun Songkram the establishment of a political system siamisasi (Rotsaniyom) of political, then Haji Sulong rise spirit Patani Malay society, in the face of political, so that Haji Sulong thus making the people's demands are the demands of 7 cases, to Thai government, the contents of these demands to get a special autonomous region that has its own political and cultural identity. The implications of this research as a hope for other research or information considered to do the kind of research and development at the same time. Abstract

The conflict in Patani is a contradiction between the Patani adn the kingdom of Siam, where’s society Patani feel the loss of political rights even remove their culture as the muslim. So it appers the national Islamic Patani. This study aims to learn about the Islamic nationalist movement in southern Thailand Pattani independence in 1902-1945. This study uses historical research, while the approach used is sociology political. The results showed that of various government policies thai want to escort and perpetuate the Patani region as the earth so that it conquered in 1902, a variety of reactions through the opposition in an effort to the pressure of the Kingdom of Siam. The implications of this research as a hope for other research or information considered to do the kind of research and development at the same time. Abstract

This study aims to analyze Abdurrahman Wahid’s thought about democracy including what the factors of his idea in realizing democracy. The method used in this study is historical research method. The result showed that because democratic values haven’t run well, so Abdurrahman Wahid want to implement democracy in the domain of social, political, and economic. According to Abdurrahman Wahid, a democratic state when equalized all citizens before the law, upholds sovereignty law, free stating opinion, apply function checks and balance, and give priority to the welfare. The conclusion is thought Abdurrahman Wahid about democracy influenced by the sociocultural, education, and political experience, who good synergy, until formed the idea of democracy. This research is expected to be a reference for the community to apply the values of democracy in order unites the various interests and the diversity of Indonesian peoples. Abstract

The paradigm change colleges associated with the concept of student centered learning requires the learning process more active learners. Learning components on the concept of student centered learning is the learners and teaching materials. One of the teaching materials is a module. This research aims to develop a Jember Prehistoric Tourism Object Module. The method used Dick and Carey research design. Modules will be tested on 2014 academic year history education students. The data analysis was obtained from expert material validity, expert design and language expert using descriptive method through questionnaire, product effectivity test developed from learning outcome obtained from pretest and posttest. Modul validity result showed that expert material validity was 83%, expert design validity was 87,14%, language expert validity was 81,7%, and product effectivity was 71,2%, that means the product was valid and effective in improving student’s learning outcome. It can be said that Jember prehistorical tourism object module can be used by the students as the media of learning history. Keywords: Module, Dick and Carey Model, validity, effectiveness

Abstract

American intervention in the government of President Ferdinand E. Marcos related to the economic crisis, political, social in Philippines. The development of communist ideology supports the growing crisis in the Philippines and it influences the interests of America that related to the economic and politics in both countries. The purpose of this study is to provide new knowledge about the politics in Southeast Asia with America around the 20th century, especially the leadership of Ferdinand E. Marcos in Philippines. This study applies the method of historical research with a heuristics technique or a source selection, a source criticism, an interpretation, and historiography. American intervention overthrows the power of Ferdinand E. Marcos through the military field and political field. America utilizes a conspiracy between the high officials RAM (Reform the Army Movement), the diplomacy senator from the part of President Reagan to the government of Philippines, and support to the opposition under Cory Aquino. Finally, American intervention managed to depose Marcos from the presidency which is later replaced by Cory Aquino in 1986. Keywords: American intervention, President Ferdinand E. Abstract

A Character education is the efforts made by the school to shape, steer and build behavior students in accordance with values are to certain norms. The Character is needed to reduce students in anticipation of future challenges which is expected to be more weight and complex. The Teaching history in high school have a big responsibility to form the character of students. The problems of this research are, the base of character education at school, the implementation of character education in teaching history, and the value of character developed by teaching history. The purpose of this research, to know the base of character education at school, the implementation of character education in teaching history, and the value of a character developed by teaching history. The subject of the research is three history teacher some students. The kind of this is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of the value character education in history teaching is patriotic, honest, diciplined, communicative and religius. This research is expected to be a contribution to the reader literature. Abstract

Learning material used learners in learning have not been able to grow the ability to seek and find their own and construct their understanding. Different speed of understanding and limited time in implementing learning in school resulted in learners unable to learn independently and directed and learn to solve problems systematically. For that the need for the use of innovative teaching materials in the form of module-based inquiry. Through the use of this inquiry-based module, learners are expected to develop their ability to learn through their own initiative and be able to solve problems critical, logical, and analytical learning so that they can formulate their own inventions full confidence. This study identifies the student's needs analysis of the innovative teaching materials that learners want. This type of research is development research. Expert validation in this research is learning design expert, learning material expert and linguist. Research subjects in small group test as 10 children, big group test as 2 class in school faithful. Data collection techniques: observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. A student needs analysis of inquiry-based module was obtained by questionnaire dispersion in three schools with class selection in low learning category. The needs analysis of learners measured through questionnaires used data with a presentation of needs of 78%. The results of validation of 60% design learning experts, 82% learning material experts and 82% language validation. One to one test result is 91%, small group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 2 get t test (2,55) and SMAN Plus Sukowono class XI IIS 1 obtained t test (2,83). Large group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 1 obtained data t test (2,83), class XI IIS 2 obtained data t test (3,16). Large group test in SMAN Plus Sukowono class XI IIS 1 was obtained t test (3,16) and class XI IIS 2 t test (2,91). Keywords: Learning Resources, Inquiry-Based Modules

Abstract

Indonesian revolution is a social change which takes place quickly cover the base or the main points of social life. The study in this context is the study of social change that is experienced by people in the review of social history and intellectual history in order to focus on the historical actor as the main study. The goal of a study is to examine the idea of Soekarno about Indonesian revolution in 1945-1967. Besides, the benefit of the study is a workout of writing a scientific work. This study also applies the method of historical research which its steps are heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Moreover, the theory used in a study is the Marxian conflict theory. Meanwhile, the approach applied in a study is the sociology of knowledge and anthropology. The result obtained in a study is the consistency of Soekarno’s thought toward Indonesian revolution, one goal, one basic, one principle revolution, one principle struggle and many kinds of struggle tactics. The conclusion is the condition of Indonesian people who suffer from difficulty because of the ferocity of Imperialism and Capitalism in Indonesia. The environmental condition around Soekarno influences his mindset. The education condition influence a paradigm and a view to thinking about revolution. Abstract

Golkar is a political organization that develops by Orde Baru. Golkar always to be a winner by elections in the Orde Baru Era. The power of political support victory golkar is military, bureaucracy, organization mass, and the government policies. Golkar always perform in general election and perlemen successive for six times elections, namely in 1971, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, and 1997. The government put officer AD loyal to Suharto to occupy office bureaucracy in government central and local. The government uses various ways to winning golkar in elections, one of them are approaching those of the lord through GUPPI that is the social organizations that engaged in islamic education. GUPPI plays an important role in islamic mass persuasion. The government’s policy also contributes in succession golkar election common in the new order era. The outcome of an election 1971, Golkar have 227 seats (62,80 %), election 1977 with the results of 62,11 % of the vote, in election 1982 golkar managed to seize 10 seats, election 1987 golkar have 73,16 % of the vote, election 1992 get the result 68,01 % of the vote, and the receipt of the votes in the election 1977 reached 74,51 %. Abstract

The research is based on socio-economic change of Kedungrejo fishermen Muncar districts Banyuwangi. Government policies are related to UU No. 22 Tahun 1999 about local government authority for te management of natural resources that have the impact to the living of communities of fishermen. The research has purposed to know about socio-economic changes of Kedungrejo Fishermen that related to the causes and forms of change of that communities.The method that used in the research is the method of writing history with heuristic stage, critic, interpretation, and historiography. The government policies as a starting point to change have positive and negative impacts.The change of Kedungrejo Fishermen can be reviewed from education and income to the communities. The education level of fishermen has increased 68,93% on 9 years compulsory education program that implemented by the government. At the level of income of fishermen increased about 30%-40% are realized in the home of fishermen and vehicles owned by fishermen.
